Phase 4: Final Plan and Adoption
Phase 4 pulled together content from the first three phases into a final draft Comprehensive Plan.
The Mecklenburg County Comprehensive Plan is divided into two volumes. Volume 1 – Mecklenburg County 2044 – includes the Vision, Future Land Use Plan, Transportation Plan, and the Implementation Plan. Volume 2 – Mecklenburg County Community Story – consists of background information and data that helped inform the recommendations within Volume 1.

Planning Commission Public Hearing

The Planning Commission completed a final review of the Comprehensive Plan and made a recommendation to the Board of Supervisors to adopt the Comprehensive Plan. Members of the public had an opportunity to speak and share their feedback during the public hearing.
